How to monetize your content?

How many content creators make money in India?

Honestly, It's one of those things where we can speculate, but the actual count? Well, that's anyone's guess!

While one report says there are 10-11 lakh content creators in India earning between ₹1 lakh- ₹10 lakhs monthly.

According to another report, India has roughly 25-35 lakh content creators, of which about 1.5 lahks can monetize their content.

Looking at those reports, it's evident that the number of creators making money from content isn't that great.

However, there's a silver lining: On one hand when 77% of social media influencers reported income growth in the past two years, 86% of creators anticipate a roughly 10% increase in income in the next 2 years.

Through affiliate marketing, if 0.5% of your viewers (5 out of 1,000) purchase a product generating a ₹200 commission each, that’s ₹1,000 more.

Takeaway: Keep track of what content performs best and adapt your strategy accordingly to continue growing your influence and income.
