From Mom to Creator Queen! Sonia Spreads Her Magic 👑

How we met Our First Creator Momma! 🔎

Through a friend as luck would have it. 😸 With about 200k subscribers under her belt, Sonia's journey was already remarkable. 

Our first step was to understand her verticals.

Sonia’s content is all about parenting, lifestyle and has just added another feather to the cap - traveling and majorly brand collabs.  But the problem was : she was in the same rut, so to speak. Her follower count? Stuck. Growth? Nowhere in sight. And her content? It's missing that special spark. She's basically standing in the middle of a crossroads, wondering which path to take. Which vertical should she focus on? How can she jazz up her profile? And what kind of content will really hit home with her audience and showcase her true self? It's like she's got all the ingredients but can't quite whip up that perfect dish.

Then she met us and we cooked a perfect biryani for her. 😃

Well, it was the end of her search 😁 as Spreadd was exactly what she was looking for.

Every success has its root in critique and constructive feedback -

We dissected Sonia's content and profile with a fine-tooth comb. No sugar-coating here—we dished out the good, the bad, and the ugly. Our goal? To elevate Sonia's work beyond beautifully shot branded and unbranded content—to a treasure trove of valuable content.

To achieve that major changes were to come her way- a shift in everything from content strategy to mindset. We also had an epiphany. 

Amidst all this we whisked Sonia away to the IVY Growth Exhibition, where she rubbed elbows with creators from Mumbai and Delhi. Suddenly, it hit us—there's a whole world of opportunity beyond her backyard. From the unique insights of Gujarat's creators to global perspectives, our horizons expanded in the blink of an eye. 

And then the real work began…🫠

Teaming up with Sonia: We established a teamwork dynamic with her, where our pan India team focused on content creation and ideation. Our role extended to providing editing feedback, occasionally directly editing  to posting content. 

For a few months we worked on the following strategies:

  • Create more raw and authentic content which is savable and shareable

  • Ideate and create  content of all varieties that matched her profile (entertainment, parenting, traveling)

  • Create branded content that integrated authentically with her profile

  • Based on content posting frequency we divided content Type based  6-4-2-1 formula - which is creating 6 types of evergreen content, 4 Controversial, 2 value- driven and 1 trend- based.

And it worked! 😎

We could see the progress unfolding from the time she joined Spreadd to the following months where we could see a steady growth in her profile. Based on our observation, entertaining content got her maximum eyeballs. And so we found the perfect niche. 

And a shift as well- now there was less boosted content (as initially she did) and more organic reach.

At the same time, we lined up brand collaborations for her. We are not just talking about short-term deals. We're talking about long-term partnerships that added serious value to her brand image. Think of it as a match made in heaven, where both Sonia's and the brands' visions aligned perfectly. 

But the challenge in front of us was to establish Sonia as more than just a brand collaborator. We recognized the need to enhance her brand identity and value beyond mere collaborations. So, as a team, we doubled down on our efforts in this regard. Through strategic long-term content planning across various streams and a fresh approach, we've successfully elevated Sonia's brand value. 

From teaming up with a luxury jewelry brand for a campaign to becoming the face of a lab-grown jewelry brand on both YouTube and Instagram - Sonia has come a long way.

Now, she's not just another face in the crowd—she's a trusted brand representative. This shift has earned us the trust of brands on the distribution side, solidifying our position as a go-to partner for impactful collaborations.

but we weren't there yet- discovering the HERO CONTENT

The Eureka moment of discovering the hero content 💫

After indulging into all kinds of formats known to mankind and working tirelessly on finding that one piece of content we finally had our eureka moment. Sonia found her voice in VLOGGING. And what do you know! Sonia took to vlogging like fish to water. 

And the hero content became superhero  when her vlog on National Creator awards did extremely well and got her maximum views and reach. Her vlog also got featured in the Indian Government's official Insta profile.

But you know what they say? Good things happen in two’s (we totally made that up!)

Her wedding content got views in millions! So for now family and wedding content has become her fortune

At this point Sonia branded and non branded content were working and reaching millions ORGANICALLY! Her profile became solid, it grew as we expected, even better and so did her subscribers base that is now a few Ks shy from 300k.

Expanding Sonia’s Creative Horizons: Podcasts, Creator Store, and Community 🌟

Sonia’s journey into the world of content creation is taking an exciting turn with the introduction of her very own podcast on YouTube. The intimate nature of podcasts will allow Sonia to share her stories and insights, fostering a deeper bond with her listeners. Podcasting will not only help diversify her portfolio but also taps into the growing trend of podcasting, which has seen a surge in popularity. With 57.6 monthly listeners India is already the third-largest podcast listening market in the world, after China and the US.

Additionally, she's embracing another vertical by creating live content for brands—an approach that's yielding great results for her.
